The purchase means that City Finansiering AS owns 50 percent of the shares in Solplassen Eiendom AS in conjunction with Wikborg Holding AS has divested their shares in the company. The office building encompasses 11,000 sqm distributed on nine floors and the law firm Wikborg Rein have been tenants here for more than 70 years.
 
“Wikborg Rein will vacate in 2017, which gives great opportunities to modernize the property,” says Svein Dugstad, CEO at City Finansiering AS.
 
Kronprinsesse Märthas plass 1 was erected in 1940 and is a landmark by the Nationaltheatret/Aker Brygge junction. Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson, who also drew Oslo town hall, designed the facade.
