New Logistics Center in Aarhus

Denmark — The retail chain Søstrene Grene constructs a new logistics center by the highway in Årslev in Aarhus. The center will contain a warehouse and terminal of 30,000 sqm and 1,200 sqm administration.<br />

“Through the new warehouse we collect our stock and modernize and streamline our logistics,” says Mikkel Grene, CEO at Søstrene Grene.

The construction started in January, the warehouse will be finished in November while the administration will be finished in December. The building will the be put to use in January 2018, and the developer is Dansk Halentreprise. The logistics center is located in the logistics park in Årslev, near Herningmotorvejen.

“It has been important to us that the center is easy to get to, which means a good exposure towards the highway,” says Mikkel Grene.
