Heimstaden purchases nine properties, 436 apartments, comprising 44,396 sqm, which gives a sqm price of approximately DKK 31,500 (€ 4,220). The leased percentage is approximately 100 percent and the net rent amounts to approximately MDKK 68,5 (€9M).

“We are happy to be a part of this deal with a strong buyer. We invested in Copenhagen’s housing market at a profitable point in time and the divestment gives an attractive yield to our investors. We still however have a positive view of the Danish market and after the divestment we still own approximately 400 housing units in the Copenhagen area” says Niam’s CEO Johan Bergman.

“The portfolio creates a unique opportunity to significantly increase Heimstaden’s residential portfolio in central Copenhagen and we look forward to further developing both the properties and our Danish business in the near future. The properties are located in attractive living areas and often in direct proximity to the ocean” says Heimstaden’s CEO Patrik Hall.
