Sagax Acquires over 180 Retail Properties in Finland

Finland — Swedish property investor Sagax has signed a conditional agreement on the acquisition of 156,000 sqm retail property portfolio for approx. EUR 90 million.

The portfolio comprises 184 grocery store properties, occupied by Suomen Lähikauppa, and two larger retail property units, occupied by S Group.

The acquisition is conditional on the acquisition of Suomen Lähikauppa by another major Finnish retailer Kesko that is currently under process and subject to the approval of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.

Sagax acquires the portfolio, if Kesko's acquisition of Suomen Lähikauppa will be approved.
