Nordisk Renting has entered into a € 51M sale- and leaseback transaction with Posti Kiinteistöt, part of Posti Group, supporting Posti Group’s plan to release capital for renewal and growth. Posti Group will continue its business operations in the logistics asset in Orimattila, Lahti, under a long-term lease.
"Posti Group was looking for a long-term partner that will take the long-term requirements of our business operations into account," says Jarkko Ämtö, Managing Director, Posti Kiinteistöt.

Nordisk Renting has also assumed full control of Airside Properties by acquiring a 50% stake from GE Capital. Airside Properties owns and leases three airside assets at Copenhagen Airport. The main customer is SAS, but also Sodexo and CAE. The underlying asset value is MDKK 198 (€27M).
"This concludes a strong relationship which began in 2001 between Nordisk Renting, SAS and GE Capital. It has been a great journey and we wish both Nordisk Renting and SAS the best for the future. This also represents GE Capital’s final commercial real estate exit in the Nordics, says Mattias Lundstöm," CEO, GE Capital Nordics.

Finally, Nordisk Renting continues the long-term relationship with Mercedes-Benz. A new 10-year lease has been signed in relation to their logistics centre in Lerum, Gothenburg. The original solution was agreed between the parties in 2003.
"We are very excited to get the opportunity to expand our business in the Nordic region, through supporting both new and existing customers. These transactions are well aligned with our strategy – customer focused solutions based on strategic property and infrastructure assets," says Caroline Bertlin, CEO, Nordisk Renting.
