“We have planned an expansion for many years, and now we have the opportunity to property succeed,” Lars Erik Sjømo, partner at Melhustorget, tells Adressa.
 
The center was constructed in 1984 but has been upgraded a few times. The owner now wants to demolish the center and construct new facilities as retail and restaurants during the first stage, to then move on to apartments during the second to fifth stage.
 
The shopping center is currently 10,000 square meters and the largest in the region. The new construction will be 5,000 square meters larger.
