The tax reform is planned to start to apply in 2021. In recent years the housing market has risen, partly due to low interest rates.

But the government is planning a new tax reform which might have a large impact on the market. The newspaper Børsen is writing about a study conducted by Nordea Market, which indicates that the price for an average apartment in the capital Copenhagen might drop with six per cent.

According to the study, the prices in Aarhus will drop even more – about nine per cent.
