YIT Has Won Several State Paving Contracts in Finland and Norway in April–June

Finland — YIT has been successful in spring tendering and won several state paving contracts in Finland and Norway during the period April–June. The total value of the contracts recorded in the order backlog for the second quarter of the year is approximately EUR 18 million.

In Finland, YIT has won ELY centre contracts in Uusimaa, Southern Finland, Southern and Northern Ostrobothnia and Southeast Finland. The total volume of asphalt mass is approximately 160,000 tons.

In addition to state paving contracts, YIT will carry out the remix-paving of Finavia’s Kuusamo and Pori airports in 2019.

In Norway, YIT has won the state contracts in the region of Tromsø in Northern Norway and the region of North Trøndelag in Central Norway. The total volume of asphalt mass is almost 60,000 tons.
