During the summer of 2025, Takeda will move in with around a hundred employees in approximately 830 square meters on the second floor of Forskaren. Takeda, originating in Japan, is a global pharmaceutical company with roughly 50,000 employees.
"Takeda is exactly the kind of tenant we want. They will contribute to promoting the exchange of ideas and innovation in, among other areas, neuroscience, which further strengthens our cluster. In Forskaren, they will have an environment that stimulates the internal culture and attracts talent from all over Sweden and the world ," says Micael Averborg, head of business development at Vectura.
The researcher was inaugurated in May 2024 and has already housed AstraZeneca, Elekta and AbbVie.
"We are here to learn, understand and work side by side with all those who have the patient's best interests at heart. A meeting place where innovation and collaboration are the focus is therefore absolutely right for our continued development as a company. The area has a special atmosphere with so much experience and competence gathered in an exciting mix. We are very much looking forward to becoming part of this fantastic ecosystem," says Per Rydingsvärd, Acting General Manager at Takeda Sweden.
