"I would like to welcome Asi Kahana to Citycon. He brings international property expertise and we believe he is the right person to lead the Swedish and Danish properties going forward," says Helen Metsvaht, COO at Citycon.
Citycon owns, manages and develops 30 centers in the Nordics and Baltics to a value of 4 billion euros. With 140 million visitors each year, Citycon focuses on everyday shopping in the largest cities in Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Estonia.
In Stockholm this includes Kista Galleria, Liljeholmstorget Galleria, Åkersberga Centrum, Jakobsbergs Centrum and on the West Coast Mölndal Galleria and Stenungstorg Centrum. Denmark includes Albertslund Centrum and Stædet Køge, both in the Copenhagen area.
Asi Kahana comes most recently from a role as CEO of an investment company in Romania, where he has lived for the past 20 years. For many years he also worked as CEO of one of the real estate company Atrium's subsidiaries, where he managed shopping center portfolios in both Romania and Hungary.
"I look forward to taking on the new role for Citycon's operations in Sweden and Denmark and I believe I can contribute with new perspectives and with my international experience. My focus will be on collaborating with the Citycon team and contributing to growth and innovation in the Swedish and Danish markets," says Asi Kahana.
