Stordalen Sells to Midstar

Nordic Petter Stordalen’s company Strawberry Properties sells five hotel properties to Swedish Midstar. Nordic Choice will continue to be the operator.

The hotel portfolio consists of four Norwgeian hotels; Clarion Collection Hotel With and Clarion Collection Hotel Aurora in Tromsø, Clarion Collection Hotel Tollboden in Drammen, Clarion Hotel Ernst in Kristiansand and one Swedish hotel Quality Hotel 11 in Gothenburg.
 
“We are proud that our hotels have developed into attractive properties and feel secure that Midstar will continue to manage them in an excellent way,” says Marcus Carlsson, CEO of Strawberry Properties.
 
“As a result of our good relations with Strawberry Properties we are very pleased to take over five profitable hotels in Gothenburg and three of the strongest regional cities in Norway. Nordic Choice Hotels is the operator and we look forward to develop these hotels together with them,” says Marc Henriksen, Managing Partner at Midstar.
 
Pangea Property Partners and Ro Sommernes Advokatfirma has been advisors to the seller Strawberry Properties.
