The project is a turnkey contract that comprises 100 apartments, a parking facility, a bike room and a waste-disposal room. The apartments will range in size from just under 100 square meters to over 200 square meters.

“We are delighted that Danica has chosen us to build these housing units at this exclusive address. Throughout the contracting phase, we have maintained a positive and constructive dialogue that ensures the construction of attractive apartments with a fantastic view across the Öresund strait,” says Palle B. Rasmussen, Head of NCC Building Denmark.

The rental apartment buildings are grouped around a courtyard close to the sea at what used to be the port area of Tuborg.

“We have had a positive and constructive dialogue when negotiating the contract. The early involvement has enabled us to provide a solid investment for our pension customers, as NCC has clearly demonstrated experience from its other major construction projects. At the same time, we can provide a number of highly attractive private rental apartments for future tenants, our pension customers and for the area,” says Robert V. S. Nellemann at Danica Ejendomsselskab ApS.

Construction will begin in the first half of 2018 and the apartments are scheduled to be completed in 2021. The order will be registered in the NCC Building business area in the second quarter of 2018 assuming, among other things, that the relevant building permits are obtained.
