Aberdeen executed the transaction of Frederiksberggade 17 on behalf of Aberdeen Property Nordic Fund 1, which already owns properties in Denmark, including the high street property at Frederiksberggade 23.

Marc Pamin, fund manager, comments:

– We are very content to add another high street property to our Danish portfolio. The fund already owns well-located prime properties throughout Scandinavia, and we are looking to increase our exposure to the Danish property market.

The purchase price was DKK 48M, which corresponds to a direct yield of 5 %.
Head of Transactions in Denmark, Lars Rasmussen:

– At Aberdeen we are always thinking long-term, and we are always looking for the right investment opportunities. At the moment, we see a growing demand amongst Aberdeen funds to increase the property investments especially in high street and office properties in the Copenhagen and Aarhus areas. In addition, we are looking for investment opportunities within the logistics segment along the Danish motorway infrastructure.
