Eddo Rats has over 20 years of experience in the real estate and hospitality business in the Netherlands. For ten years he worked at Vesteda Investment Management, the last years as Director of Property Management & Innovation. For nearly four years, he was the Managing Director at the Dutch hotel group Bastion Hotels. The last three years he has worked as Regional Director in Amsterdam & Almere for de Alliantie, one of the largest housing associations in the Netherlands.
On July 1st, 2020, Eddo Rats will join Heimstaden Netherland as Managing Director.
Heimstaden Netherland has grown rapidly since the first acquisition in 2018. Today, the company covers a portfolio of 555 properties with a total of app. 10,451 residential units. The Dutch organization counts 47 employees, working from the offices in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Heimstaden’s business model is having an internal property management, one of Eddo’s first tasks is to successfully complete the insourcing of all administration and services.
