The seller is WBME Holding i Varberg AB, a joint venture between Järngrinden and Mjöbäcks Entreprenad. The zoning plan for the area came into force in 2017. The acquisition relates to three project companies with which Haninge municipality has signed land transfer agreements regarding the properties Haninge Söderbymalm 3: 541, 3: 542 and 3: 543. The land transfer agreements are conditional on the timing of the building permit and starting clearance.
Magnolia Bostad plans to develop apartment blocks in two sectors, with a garage and two commercial units. The buildings will be certified in accordance with the Swedish Green Building Council’s silver certification. The area is close to nature, and a footbridge with cycle lanes to Rudan's recreation area which is near the housing project. It is also within walking distance to Haninge Centrum and the commuter train station, from which you reach central Stockholm in 30 minutes.
