– This property with long contracts in one of Drammen’s best areas for retail is ideal for the fund’s investment strategy, says Knut Haraldson, fund manager for Aberdeen Eiendomsfond Norge I.

– Drammen is a growing area and the close proximity to Oslo makes this region one of those we wish to invest in. In addition to the Oslo region we look for good properties in Bergen and Trondheim, says the transaction manager at Aberdeen Asset Management, Jens-Petter Guthus.

– We think it is nice that the interest from larger national investors in Drammen increases, and we wish the new owner good luck with the development of a great hub in Drammen, says property investor Jon Einar Melbye, representing the local investors.

The seller of the property is a local private investor, according to Aberdeen.
