There is a currently vacant building of approximately 8,000 sqm in the section of the property being sold. Work recently commenced to amend the zoning plan, with the aim of having a finalised zoning plan during 2023.
“The agreement with Aroseken to construct housing is an important step in the right direction for Vision Finnslätten. In this area, we are developing the high-tech hub of the future for international companies. We are planning for offices, world-class industrial and logistics premises, as well as an international school and pre-school, and are delighted that Aroseken is to develop housing here,” says Mats Eriksson, Regional Manager Mälardalen at Kungsleden.
Aroseken will gain access to the property in connection with the zoning plan coming into force and the property being subdivided.
“We feel very honoured that Kungsleden has selected us as strategic partner to develop housing for Finnslätten. We are very much looking forward to a collaboration in which we will work with Kungsleden to help our industrial companies become even more competitive by offering a solid breadth of new housing alternatives,” says Aroseken’s CEO Christian Brobeck.
