The 46,000 m2 project will be located on the new peninsula at Masthuggskajen, which is becoming a desirable addition to central Gothenburg. The project has attracted great interest, and letters of intent have already been signed for more than half of the office premises.

“Together with BRA Bygg, we are now starting work on the construction of Global Business Gate, which will be an innovative hub and meeting place for export-oriented and international businesses. After many years of planning the project, we are pleased to tell you about our collaboration with a contractor on the actual construction,” says Michael Walmerud, CEO of Global Business Gate.

“We look forward to working with the Global Business Gate team on the construction of the project, which takes place at one of Gothenburg's best office locations,” says Magnus Riemer, CEO of BRA AB.

The collaborative phase of the project has commenced. The building contract will be included in Veidekke's order book once the collaboration phase has been concluded and a construction contract is signed.

The Global Business Gate office project will be a hub for internationally oriented companies. Owned by Elof Hansson Fastigheter and Alecta Fastigheter, Global Business Gate will comprise two buildings with a total gross area of 46,000 m2. The buildings, of 26 and 12 floors respectively, will be built on a new peninsula that juts out approximately 100 meters into the river Götaelven at Masthuggskajen in central Gothenburg. The first tenants are expected to move in by late autumn 2027.
