"The acquisition of the project in Solna comes at exactly the right time and gives us building rights in an attractive urban and waterfront area that very well complements Klövern's existing portfolio and growth ambitions," says Rickard Langerfors, CEO of Klövern.

The project is located in the Huvudsta district and has a potential of around 500 homes in five blocks near the water and only around 10 to 15 minutes from the city. The detailed planning process is at an early stage and the plan is expected to enter into force in 2027.

The development area is an important part of connecting Solna with the inner city, located northwest of Västra Kungsholmen and southwest of Hagastaden, two recently developed fast-growing areas. A new subway entrance adjacent to the property means that the connection to the inner city is very good for the district and above all for the project.
