Sweden — During the third quarter, Wallenstam vacated the property Inom Vallgraven 20:9 with the address Östra Hamngatan 39 / Kungsgatan 52 in central Gothenburg. Wallenstam also obtained a land allocation in Stockholm.

Sweden — Balder, together with Folkets Hus and the hotel operator Nordic Choice, has entered into an agreement to develop, construct and operate the new hotel at Järntorget in Gothenburg.    

Sweden — Rikshem has bought a combined retirement home and rental apartments for senior citizens in Älvängen, outside of Gothenburg, from Skanska.

Sweden — Svenska Hus has purchased properties in Floda, Lerum’s municipality, outside of Gothenburg. The acquisition encompasses three properties, with a leasable area of approximately 13,600 square meters, consisting of shops, facilities for the municipality and county as well as apartments.

Sweden — At Kungsportsavenyen 34, Wallenstam has now started the next stage in the development of the Avenyn area with the Sturefors project.

Sweden — In partnership with Liseberg, NCC will extend the largest amusement park in the Nordic region. The assignment includes a water park, a themed destination hotel and parking facilities in the city centre of Gothenburg. Liseberg, through the Liseberg Skår development company, has budgeted the assignment at approximately EUR 194M.

Sweden — NCC has signed an agreement with the Swedish Transport Administration for the assignment to construct Central Station, which is a significant phase of the West Link project in Gothenburg.

Sweden — Brunswick Real Estate has alongside a major Nordic institution provided a EUR 101M loan to Kongahälla Shopping AB, a JV between Adapta Fastigheter and Alecta pensionsförsäkring. The loan will assist the company in the construction of Kongahälla Shopping, a new community shopping centre located in Kungälv north of Gothenburg, and provide a long-term financing once completed.

Sweden — Estea’s investment fund Estea Logistic Properties 5 divests the Veddesta 2:42 property in Stockholm and the Kobbegården 6:249 property in Gothenburg.

Sweden — Hemfosa has signed a new agreement for previously vacant floor space of approximately 20,000 square meters in the Arendal 1:17 logistic property next to the Port of Gothenburg.

Sweden — NCC has launched a partnering arrangement with Global Business Gate for a new office project in the Masthuggskajen district in Gothenburg. The assignment has been divided into two phases, and the total order value is expected to amount to approximately EUR 90M.

Sweden — Skanska has sold a nursing home under construction in Gothenburg for about EUR 25M. The buyer is property fund managed by Northern Horizon and Ambea will become the tenant.

Nordic — NREP secures the largest portfolio exit of necessity driven retail assets in Sweden in 2017 by selling a portfolio consisting of 11 assets and a total area of 63,500 square meters to Storebrand/SPP.

Sweden — Skanska has sold the office building Piren 2 in Gothenburg for about EUR 43M.
