Peab's CEO: "Continuously weak housing market – but think the bottom has been reached"

Nordic — When Peab sum up their first quarter in 2024, it shows a strong order intake for the period. However, the market in the Nordic region is highly varied: there is good demand for construction, covering and other house building, while the housing market continues to be weak.

Revided Targets for Peab

Sweden Sweden — In order to promote continued value creation Peab’s executive management and Board have today adopted revised targets; everything from our mission, business concept and strategic targets to internal and external financial and non-financial targets. As of 2021 Peab will externally report the performance of the business by monitoring nine targets, of which three are financial.

Peab to Decide on Distribution of Annehem Fastigheter at EGM

Sweden Sweden — Today, October 19, 2020 Peab’s Board has summoned to an Extra General Meeting (EGM) November 12, 2020 to decide on its proposal to distribute all the shares in the wholly owned subsidiary Annehem Fastigheter. The intention is to list the B shares in Annehem Fastigheter on Nasdaq Stockholm in December 2020. The distribution corresponds to equity of around SEK 2 billion.

Peab’s Model to Solve Residential Development

Jesper Göransson, CEO of the Swedish giant Peab, tells Nordic Property News of the company’s plans to solve the situation.

Peab: Write-down by €84 M of Project Mall of Scandinavia

Sweden Sweden — The project has been reviewed after the mall was opened on 12 November 2015 and thereafter written-down by SEK 800 million (€84 M). The Write-down does not affect dividend capacity in 2015. The Mall of Scandinavia in Solna is Peab’s largest project ever.
