Finland — Mandatum Asset Management has signed an agreement concerning the purchase of real estate fund management company Trevian Funds AIFM Ltd. In connection with the transaction, Trevian’s entire fund management business, including the personnel employed by the company, will transfer to Mandatum Asset Management.

Finland — Special investment fund Trevian Finland Properties I has launched significant projects to improve the energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of its real estate portfolio. Trevian Funds AIFM has also established a new fund, Trevian Carbon Sink Real Estate I Ky, with a mission to enhance biodiversity and grow natural carbon sinks, mainly through restoration and conservation of drained peatlands across Finland.

Finland — Building Engineer Kimmo Ahonen has been appointed Technical Director at Trevian Funds AIFM Ltd, starting 7 January 2020. He comes from a Key Account Manager role at Newsec.
