Amaron Real Estate acquires the property Sunnanå 6:30 in Toftanäs, Malmö. The property has a lettable area of 2,650 square meters and is a logistics building. The acquisition is made in a combination of equity and bank financing. The tenant is Rhenus Group, a leading global logistics company with an annual turnover of seven billion Eeuro.

The purchase of the property will be the eighth in a row for Amaron Real Estate, which at the same time is actively working on several parallel acquisitions in southern Sweden.

"After a successful first fund - Norama Real Estate Fund Sicav-SIF which we divested in 2021, we are now continuing to build the successor, Amaron Real Estate. We are actively looking for properties to invest in," says Stefan Wilhelmson, CEO of Amaron Real Estate Fund.

"From Norama Real Estate Fund Sicav-SIF, we have brought with us the experience from a previous build-up and a successful divestment. The property portfolio, which was divested for just over two billion kroner, consisted of attractive offices/warehouses, logistics and community properties located in Malmö, Helsingborg and Lund and the surrounding area. The investors received between 20-30 percent per year in returns, depending on the timing of the investment. We see that the market climate is favorable for investments in commercial properties in the region. We aim for a good risk-adjusted return and a long-term cooperation with our tenants," says Martin Mildner.

Amaron Real Estate's ambition is to reach the size of SEK 4–6 billion by acquiring commercial properties in light industry, warehouses, logistics and offices. Geographical area for acquisition is The Greater Copenhagen Region, with a focus on southern Sweden. Current properties are mainly located in Malmö, Lund and Trelleborg.

"We have a clear sustainability strategy and our goal is to environmentally certify our properties in order to partly be able to offer energy-efficient premises, partly to contribute to a better society. In the spring of 2022, we carried out an ambitious project with the aim of defining our vision and strategy to integrate environmental and social aspects in our investment process and asset management," says Stefan Wilhelmson.
