Sweden — NCC launches Loop Industries, a tech company focusing on scalable businesses in the construction industry. The company’s portfolio currently comprises Loop Rocks, Loop Rocks Express and Hauly, digital platforms for logistics, building materials and transport.

Sweden — Tomas Carlsson, who has been appointed as the new President and CEO of NCC, will assume the position on May 7th, nearly two months earlier than planned. Tomas Carlsson is currently employed at the listed architecture and engineering consultancy Sweco.

Sweden — Kenneth Nilsson has been appointed new Head of Business Area NCC Infrastructure and will become a member of the Executive Management Team. Kenneth Nilsson joins NCC from Skanska, where he most recently served as the head of Skanska Civil East in the US.

Sweden — The Board of Directors of NCC has decided to replace the Group’s CEO Peter Wågström in order to increase focus on the construction and civil engineering operations. Recruitment of a new CEO will commence immediately. Håkan Broman, who has served as General Counsel at NCC for many years, will assume the position of acting CEO as of October 30 until such time as a new CEO is in place.
