Sweden Sweden — At an extra board meeting on July 17, Liseberg's board decided that the water park Oceana in Gothenburg should be rebuilt. Oceana, which suffered extensive damage in a fire in February this year, has been cleared and cleaned during the last quarter. With the board's decision made, a reconstruction is now possible, but the road to a finished project is not straight, and some issues remain to be investigated. NCC, which was in charge of the contract when the fire broke out, is given renewed confidence to rebuild Oceana.

NCC Signs Contract for Liseberg’s New Water Park

Sweden Sweden — NCC and Liseberg amusement park have signed a contract for the construction of a new water park. The assignment is through the development company Liseberg Skår AB and the order value is approximately SEK 700 million.

NCC to Build Liseberg’s New Water Park and Hotel

Sweden Sweden — In partnership with Liseberg, NCC will extend the largest amusement park in the Nordic region. The assignment includes a water park, a themed destination hotel and parking facilities in the city centre of Gothenburg. Liseberg, through the Liseberg Skår development company, has budgeted the assignment at approximately EUR 194M.
