Pandox and Scandic Extend Lease Agreements for 15 Hotel Properties in the Nordics

Nordic — Pandox and Scandic Hotels have entered into an agreement on the extension of leases for 15 hotel properties and a congress center. The leases are revenue-based with a contractual minimum level and with a tenure between 12–20 years. The parties also undertake to jointly invest approximately MSEK 700 in the hotel properties over a multi-year period.

Scandic to Take Over Hotel at Stockholm Arlanda Airport

Klövern Signs a 20-year Lease with Scandic Hotels for New Örebro Hotel

Sweden Sweden — Klövern has signed a lease contract with Scandic Hotels encompassing approximately 5,800 sqm in a planned new modernistic building in Örebro. The hotel will have around 160 rooms. The tenant is expected to move in in November 2021.

Scandic to Open Central Helsinki’s Largest Conference Hotel

Finland Finland — Scandic has signed a lease agreement for a new meeting and conference hotel in Helsinki. The hotel, Scandic Avenue, will have 350 rooms and will be located near the Old Church Park in the heart of the city. It is scheduled to open in 2022.

Obos Sells in Bergen

Norway Norway — Obos Eiendom sells Ørnen Eiendom to Oslo Pensjonsforsikring for MNOK 800 (EUR 83M). Ørnen Eiendom owns Lars Hillesgate 18 in Bergen, home to a 19,000 sqm hotel.

Scandic to Divest Hotel in Lahti

Finland Finland — Scandic has signed an agreement to divest the hotel operations of Scandic Lahti to Greenstar Hotel Oy. The buyer will take over the operations of the hotel, which has 139 rooms, on August 1, 2019.
