The hotel opened its doors in 2014 and is one of Bergen's largest hotels and newest landmarks. The hotel's design is an attraction in itself and contains 13 floors of 368 rooms, 350 dining areas and conference facilities for 700 guests.

Obos Eiendom developed the Eagle and has owned the property for five years. Together with Scandic, Obos has developed one of the best hotels in Bergen. With Oslo Pensjonsforsikring as the new owner, the hotel has got a new long-term owner who will continue the ownership in a good way.

"We sell the property because we want to allocate funding for new projects," says executive vice president Nils Morten Bøhler.
