Sweden — Convendum leases 5,000 sqm on Kungsholmen in Stockholm from Areim. In the property Brädstapeln Convendum will open up their 14th of 20 planned locations in Sweden.

Finland — Areim has acquired an office building from GE Healthcare Finland Oy in Vallila, Helsinki.

Sweden — The education industry company Thorengruppen has opened the first of four schools in Tomteboda. The three other schools will move into newly refurbished and custom-made premises in stages over the next two years. The total leased area amounts to 8,500 sqm, with a lease duration of 12 years. Tomteboda is owned by Areim and Blackstone, and managed by Obligo Real Estate.

Sweden — Fastpartner has acquired the property Brahelund 2 (Solna Port) in Solna from Areim for SEK 1.935 billion (EUR 190M).

Sweden — Novi Real Estate and Areim have together been assigned by Allianz to co-manage the Gångaren 11 property on Kungsholmen.

Sweden — The Board of the City Planning Office in Stockholm has approved the zoning plan for the Brädstapeln block, commonly known as the Trygg Hansa-building, at Kungsholmen. The proposal has been developed by Manuelle Gautrand architects and Swedish architects Equator in close collaboration with the City Planning Office.

Sweden — Areim has signed office leases totaling more than 8,000 square meters in the property Solna Brahelund 2, also known as Solna Port.

Finland — Real estate funds managed by Capman have sold two office buildings located at Elimäenkatu 9 and 15 in Vallila, Helsinki, to Areim Fund III.

Sweden — Atrium Ljungberg concluded an agreement on acquisition of the office property Lindholmen 30:1 in the city district Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The property is being acquired for an underlying property value of approximately SEK 1.3 billion (EUR 136M). By means of the acquisition, Atrium Ljungberg is doubling its property portfolio in Gothenburg.

Finland — Genesta has sold the office property Atomitie 5 located in Helsinki on behalf of Genesta’s fund GNBRE (Genesta Nordic Baltic Real Estate). The property was acquired by Areim Fund III.

Sweden — Intea purchases social properties from Blackstone/Areim in Linköping and Östersund, for approximately SEK 3 billion (€ 323M).

Nordic — Areim recently launched its Areim Fund III and is now entering into its first deal – 20 percent of the Nordic portfolio that Blackstone last year bought from Obligo.

Sweden — Areim Fund II acquires the property Brahelund 2 in Frösunda, Stockholm from German Commerz Real. The total lettable area is ca 41 000 sqm, of which ca 18 000 sqm office premises are vacant today.

Sweden — Areim sells Lindhagensporten in Stockholm, on behalf of Areim Fond I to global investment manager Invesco Real Estate via its local partner, Scius Partners.

Sweden — A new Swedish real estate company, founded by amongst others Lennart Sten, former Europe Manager at GE Capital Real Estate, purchases 44 retail properties from Areim.
