Finland — Peab has begun the construction of its second office building in Pitäjänmäki in Helsinki.

Finland — YIT starts the construction of apartment building projects in Kuninkaantammi, Helsinki and Mankkaa, Espoo. The combined value of the projects is approximately EUR 25M and each project will comprise approximately 50 apartments.

Finland — Varma and Bonnier Books Finland have signed a long-term lease agreement on the premises located at Lönnrotinkatu 18 in Helsinki. Bonnier will move into the newly renovated loft-inspired premises in September 2017.

Finland — The closing of the agreement to implement the hotel for YIT’s Tripla project in Central Pasila, Helsinki, Finland has been secured after the conditions for the agreement were met.

Finland — Antilooppi acquires Itämerenkatu 3 office property in Ruoholahti from YLE Pension Fund for EUR 28.7M in an off-market transaction.

Finland — Nordika has acquired three office properties in Helsinki from Varma and Tristan Capital. The properties were part of a larger portfolio that Tristan Capital acquired from Varma at the end of December 2016. German bank Helaba financed the acquisition.

Finland — Varma and SOK have signed a new long-term lease agreement on the rental of office space in Ässäkeskus, SOK’s head office located in Vallila, Helsinki. SOK’s head office has been in the same premises since 1991.

Finland — Genesta has sold the office property Atomitie 5 located in Helsinki on behalf of Genesta’s fund GNBRE (Genesta Nordic Baltic Real Estate). The property was acquired by Areim Fund III.

Finland — Skanska has signed a contract with the City of Helsinki for the renovation of the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki, Finland. The contract is worth EUR 156M.

Finland — Genesta acquires the 11,200 square metre large landmark office property Hämeentie 11 located in Sörnainen, Helsinki, on behalf of its fund GNRE Fund II. The seller is a fund managed by JP Morgan Asset Management.
