The September market in the Nordics, according to Pangea Monthly Update:
Sweden: Monthly transaction volume in Sweden of € 0.7 billion in September. A large deal was Värmdo municipality divesting 49% of its shares in Värmdö Bostäder AB to Rikshem for approx. SEK 1bn.
Norway: Continuing strong transaction volume in Norway reaching € 0.8 billion last month. The largest transaction was Meyer Bergman’s acquisition of a high street retail portfolio, from Søylen Eiendom and Madison International (NOK ~5.3bn).
Finland: Transaction activity in Finland reaching 11 deals and € 0.6 billion in September, an increase from last month. A large transaction on the Finnish property market was HOK-Elanto’s sale of Kaari shopping centre to Niam (lettable area of 48,700 m²).
Denmark: Moderate monthly transaction volume in Denmark reaching € 0.3bn (DKK 2.4bn) in September. The largest deal was Patrizia acquiring a retail property (Galleri K) and adjacent office premises in Copenhagen (lettable area of 25,100 m²) from Bank of Ireland & Unipension for DKK 1.55bn.
