The coworking & conference enterprise Mindpark is moving in to 1,300 m² on the bottom three floors of the Slagthuset high-rise where they will, together with Goto 10 – a concept from the Internet Foundation in Sweden – manage coworking, reception, conference, café and event facilities. Mindpark was recently selected as the best coworking space in all of the Nordics. The redevelopment will begin soon and create a brand new reception as well as modern creative workplaces and conference rooms. The opening is projected for the middle of August.

“Mindpark are currently based at our Hermes 10 property in Helsingborg, and it is naturally very pleasing to continue our relationship with them. I am also pleased that we can inject Slagthuset with fresh energy in the form of new, creative spaces and a number of new, dynamic companies in the building. It’s also a fantastic addition to Nyhamnen’s development,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.

The software consultancy Softhouse has also signed a lease at Slagthuset. The company will move in to their Malmö office of 1,100 m² on 1 August 2020. Softhouse specialises in software development and has a total of 200 employees working out of seven offices.

At Slagthuset, we will acquire a larger, more contemporary space that is optimised for teamwork and knowledge sharing. Today, a great many of our customers use Softhouse as their solution provider for services delivered directly from our own offices. In addition, we will be able to collaborate in Slagthuset with such partners as Mindpark and Goto 10 to create an entire ecosystem that we believe will benefit everyone on the premises,” says Roland Ferngård, CEO Softhouse Consulting Öresund AB.
