NCC purchases the area from Vålerenga Kultur og Idresspark AS, as a part of a new quarter in Oslo, with a sport center, housing, school and service.

– Through this area purchase NCC has made it possible for Vålerenga to realize their dream of having their own arena. NCC was a part of the planning process early and has been an important partner during the whole process, says Tom Krøning, Chairman of the Board at Vålerenga Kultur og Idrettspark AS.

NCC has high awareness of the Helsfyr area. NCC has earlier developed among others Fyrstikktorget, Helsfyr Panorama and their own award winning headquarters in Oslo on Østensjøveien 27.

– It is exciting for us at NCC to be a part of the development of this area. Our goals is for Valle Hovin to become a new viable and living quarter with their new arena, housing, school and work places, says Manne Aronsson, CEO at NCC Property Development Norway.

Other than the modern office spaces, a trade and service range is planned for the bottom floor of the new offices.

– With the close proximity to the new Vålerenga sports arena and the service that will exist there, the hub for public transportation and the close distance to the center we believe that the new office area will be attractive on the market. The offices will also have a good profiling towards the freeway, says Manne Aronsson.
