The four-storey property will have 47 apartments in two wings. The facade of the building will be mainly plastered in white, with a few colours added as special effects. The facade of lower storeys will be covered with a light granite. The residents will have access to a common club room and a shared sauna, and a separate storage unit for outdoor equipment and a waste disposal room will be built in the yard. The possibility to install solar panels will be built on the roof.

“Cooperation with Kojamo has been fluent and we are looking forward to building this project. The new residents will love the green and colourful blocks in Leinelä,” says Project Manager Iikka Alanen of Skanska.

“The agreement with Skanska supports our strategy to invest heavily in the growing apartment supply in Finnish growth centres, where the demand for rental apartments is growing due to urbanisation and the popularity of living in rental apartments,” says Kojamo’s Chief Investment Officer Ville Raitio.

Leinelä has developed intensely in the 2010s and the area has an original design, including colourful facades and urban art. Services in the area include two day care centres and a grocery store, and the nature close by provides excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation and sports. The location is ideal for commuters using various modes of transport, because Leinelä is situated along the Ring Rail Line between Tuusulanväylä and Lahdenväylä roads.
