The current acquisition adds two properties and increases the portfolio by approx. 27,000 sqm of logistics and warehouse space. Tikkurilantie 154 adds 22,000 sqm of prime logistics premises near the Helsinki airport. The property is fully leased to international logistics operator DB Schenker and offers premises in an excellent logistics location in the Helsinki metropolitan area. It also presents a compelling opportunity for future development including a potential expansion and an improved sustainability profile.
The other property, with approximately 5,000 sqm of lettable area, is a multi-tenant facility located in Vantaa's Piispankylä, offering excellent access to all major highways. The property will also undergo a significant modernization in the coming years, with a focus on ESG enhancements to further improve its sustainability and energy efficiency.
"These acquisitions further strengthen UrbanLight's portfolio and align perfectly with our strategy of owning high quality properties in prime locations in and around Helsinki. We believe there is significant potential to add value to the newly acquired properties through targeted investments in sustainability," says Robert Landtman, Partner at Alma Property Partners.
"The recently executed transaction reflects our ability to carry out significant acquisitions even in the current market environment. We aim to continue growing our portfolio through acquisitions and further developments," continues Ville Vänttinen, Founding Partner at Alea Partners.
