YIT to execute an apartment building for TA-Asumisoikeus

Finland — YIT and TA-Asumisoikeus Oy have signed an agreement on the construction of an ARA-funded eight-storey apartment building project named Asumisoikeus Oy Suvialankaari 1 in Niemenranta area, Tampere. The right-of-occupancy dwellings contracted to TA-Asumisoikeus are part of YIT's Niemenranta regional project. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 9 million and it will be recorded in the order book of the last quarter of the year.

Asumisoikeus Oy Tampere Suvialankaari 1 has a total area of approximately 2,800 square meters of floor space and 37 apartments will be built in the housing company. The earthworks have been started and homes are expected to be completed in October 2025.

"YIT and TA-Asumisoikeus Oy have had good and long-term cooperation in several projects around Finland. It is great that we can continue our cooperation and get to implement the site for our customer also in the Niemenranta area," said Sami Viitanen, VP of Housing and Business Premises, Pirkanmaa area at YIT.

YIT has previously implemented a right-of-occupancy house called Federleynkatu 56, completed for TA in Niemenranta in 2017.
