Alecta Fastigheter has set its sights on doubling its current property portfolio valued at SEK 45 billion over the next few years. Jenny Lindholm, who is now taking up the position as CIO, will play an extremely important role in the expansion plan.

"The goal of doubling our holding is an ambitious investment that will create a safe and good return for Alecta's pension savers. Our Head of Investment will play a key role in this long-term, sustainable and strategic growth. With Jenny Lindholm, we get a very experienced person at the helm of our expansion journey, with many years of experience in the real estate industry. We are very happy to welcome her to us," says Lena Boberg, CEO of Alecta Fastigheter.

In her role as CIO, Jenny Lindholm is responsible for transactions and analysis, initially in Sweden but eventually also in the rest of the Nordic region. In line with the expansion plan, the focus is primarily on the acquisition of properties.

"In my opinion, being involved in building a modern real estate company from scratch is as much a challenge as an opportunity. Alecta Fastigheter already has an interesting, diversified portfolio and I look forward to further strengthening it with future-proof additions in both established and fast-growing areas," comments Jenny Lindholm, incoming CIO at Alecta Fastigheter.

Jenny Lindholm, who previously worked in leading roles with real estate players such as Catella, Niam, Hemfosa and Nyfosa, most recently came from the German Allianz Real Estate, where she acted as Director Nordics with responsibility for investments and strategic assets. She will be part of the management team and will take up the position as CIO at Alecta Fastigheter in October.
