The transaction will be reported in Q4 2021 under the JM International business segment. Kera will be an example of new urban development, where residents, landowners, companies and other development partners are working close together, co-creating a smart city.

“We share the common view with the city and see Kera as pioneer in sustainable urban development, where e.g. solutions for supporting a carbon-neutral circular economy are tested. The acquisition strengthens JM’s position and visibility in one of our key locations in The Greater Helsinki area,” says Markus Heino, President of JM Finland.

JM is certifying all new residential units in Finland, Sweden and Norway in accordance with the Swan Ecolabel. JM is thus the first Nordic construction company to certify its entire production of residential units in accordance with the Swan Ecolabel.
