In his new role, Massot will be responsible for the development of the emerging new district Karlastaden on Lindholmen in Gothenburg with regard to finances, time, delivery and quality. He will also be responsible for the development of the project with content that is demanded by the market, both by potential home buyers, tenants and investors.

Daniel Massot most recently came from his position as CEO of Svenska Hus, one of Sweden's largest privately owned real estate companies. Prior to that, he held a number of leadership roles at, among others, Hufvudstaden AB and Skanska.

"We have worked throughout the year to strengthen the organization in Karlastaden and have carried out a number of strategically important recruitments so far. Now Daniel is also joining the gang, which feels extremely good. I have followed Daniel for several years and therefore it is now really fun to be able to welcome him to us," says Patrik Lindström, vice president of Serneke Invest.

"I have always thought that Serneke is a very exciting company that today has grown to become one of the largest construction groups in Sweden. I feel that there is a curiosity and a strong entrepreneurial culture that, together with all the committed employees, drives on in everyday life. Everything this feels absolutely right to me and I'm looking forward to patterning," says Daniel Massot.

Massot takes up his new position at the turn of August - September.
