K2A Reduces Manufacturing Staff Due to Delayed Construction Starts

Sweden Sweden — K2A Knaust & Andersson Fastigheter AB is pausing production at its K2A Trähus subsidiary and postponing a number of construction starts planned for 2022 and 2023. As a result, the majority of the employees at K2A Trähus are being issued with redundancy notices. K2A is also postponing its operational growth target of 10,000 managed apartments and no longer has the target that this will be achieved in 2025. However, the company is reaffirming its existing financial growth targets.

SBB and K2A Secure 42,000 sqm Rental Agreements

Sweden Sweden — SBB and K2A have jointly signed rental agreements with the Swedish Police Authority and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service to let a total of approximately 42,500 square metres in Västerås. The total annual rental value of the agreements is just over MSEK 95 with a contract term of 20 years.
