The department store giant has purchased land in Næringspark Øst of approximately 100,000 square meters. According to Moss Avis, Ikea plans on building a large warehouse on a 70,000 square meter plot, 1,5 kilometers from the new department store.
“We are happy to announce our plans to further strengthen Ikeas presence in Vestby,” Clare Rodgers, CEO at Ikea Norway, tells Moss Avis.
Vestby municipality has recently divested a number of plots in Næringspark Øst to investors like Nille, Oluf Lorentzen, DHL and Raypak.
