The four shopping centres are Tangen Nærsente on Nesodden, Fagernes Kjøpsenter, Rykkinn Nærsenter and Grorud Nærsenter.
The collective turnover reaches MNOK 1,4000 (€167M).
“The acquisition strengthens Scala’s position on the Norwegian shopping centre market. The shopping centres are medium sized and based on a high degree of fast-moving consumer goods, which fits Scala’s strategy” says Morten Fredriksen at Scala Retail Property.
According to Norwegian media the purchase price is MNOK 900 (€107M) and the annual rental income is approximately MNOK 70 (€8M).
The seller Norges Gruppen owns Scala Retail Property together with Fredriksborgs AS. Scala established in 2012 and through this deal the company owns nine shopping centres encompassing approximately 140,000 sqm, and with store sales of approximately MNOK 3,400 (€405M).
