Oslo Areal Purchases in Sandvika

Norway — Oslo Areal has purchased the Vestfjordgaten property in Sandvika from Norconsult Holding, who at the same time signed a long-term lease.<br />

The property encompasses a total of 24,000 square meters.

“We are happy to have Oslo Areal as a long-term and professional owner of the building. Norconsult thereby strengthens their competitiveness and gains an increased flexibility for long-term growth,” says Norconsult’s CFO Christian Bekkevold Nilse.

“This purchase confirms Oslo Areal’s investment in office properties nearby the Oslo area, and we are happy to have such a stable and good tenant as Norconsult,” says Mona Ingebrigtsen, CEO at Oslo Areal.

Norconsult has owned the property since it was completed in 1993. The property will now be modernized.

Cushman & Wakefield Realkapital has been the sales advisor and BAHR and Schjødt have been legal advisors for the seller and buyer.
