“SPG and Bakke have ongoing housing projects in Skårer, Jessheim and Rykkinn. As the plot in Gressvik went up for sale it was natural to enter a new cooperation,” says Knut Hoite, CEO at SPG.
“Fredrikstad is currently Norway’s sixth largest city and with a shorter commute through the new train connections we are expecting a positive development of the housing prices in the Østfold area,” he continues.
A new Intercity train connection is planned between Oslo and Fredrikstad with double tracks, that is expected to be finished before 2024. The commute from Oslo to Fredrikstad city center will be estimated to 45 minutes.
