Danske Shooppingcentre acquired Herning Center in competition with both domestic and foreign investors.

Formally, the sale must now be approved by the Danish Competition Authority. It is expected to happen over the next couple of months. The new owner will then take over the center on October 1, 2018.

”We are very pleased to add the Herning Center to our portfolio of shopping centers. In just the past five years alone, there has been approximately MDKK 100 invested in the center, so it is a modern and also very well-run shopping center, we take over with high rental rates, exciting stores and a solid customer base. We are looking forward to long-term cooperation with the center's tenants and customers," says Michael Nielsen, CEO of Danske Shoppingcentre.
