“We’ve pursued a broad-based recruitment process, with many highly competent applicants,” reports CEO Sverre Molvik. “After a careful evaluation, our choice fell on the candidate who knows both the sector and company best.
“Brunvoll possesses valuable expertise and experience which are important and right for us, and will unquestionably help to strengthen our company even further.”
Born in 1977, Brunvoll has an MSc in accounting and auditing from the Norwegian School of Economics and began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers AS.
He became group financial controller at Selvaag Bolig in 2010 and was the company’s chief controller from 2014 to 2020. He also served as a worker director for six years.
In 2020, Brunvoll became CEO of Urban Property, a partner company which owns Selvaag Bolig’s land bank.
Molvik will act as CFO until Brunvoll takes over from 1 May 2021 at the latest.
