Beckhoff develops universal and open control and automation solutions that are used in a wide variety of applications ranging from CNC machine tools to intelligent building automation systems. Beckhoff’s Swedish headquarters is already located in Malmö, but the company is set to move in to an entirely new and modern building at Hindbygården 7 adjacent to Inre Ringvägen and Ystadvägen in summer 2022. Beckhoff will lease the entire property in which it will locate functions such as sales, orders, support, administration and inventory.

The building will be equipped with intelligent building automation systems, one of Beckhoff’s main product areas alongside industrial control and automation solutions. There are plans for certification to SGBC Gold standard.

“We are looking forward to welcoming Beckhoff Automation as one of Wihlborgs’ tenants. Hindbygården 7 has good communication links and offers new premises with inspiring architecture. All of the prerequisites for creating a new headquarters that provides employees and visitors with pride, inspiration and energy can be found here,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.

“Following years of growth in the Swedish automotive and property markets, a new and modern property with development potential for our headquarters in Sweden is a natural step for us at Beckhoff,” says Håkan Brandt, General Manager of Beckhoff Automation AB.

“Beckhoff’s customers in Sweden have always been an important market for us, and after years of fruitful collaboration and innovation, we aim to further increase our local presence with a modern property,” adds Hans Beckhoff, CEO and owner of Beckhoff Automation.
