In 2017 the new departure and arrival hall opens at Oslo Lufthavn. The development increases the capacity to 129 new rooms, a new conference facility of 700 sqm, multiple smaller course and conference rooms, a large exhibition area, new lobby, new common area, kitchen and restaurant.
 
The hotel grows from 326 to 455 rooms and will also be expanded by 7,000 new sqm. With the two sister hotels Comfort Hotel Runway and Clarion Hotel & Congress Oslo Airport, Nordic Choice Hotels want so have 1187 rooms and 14,000 sqm conference capacity all together at Gardermoen.
 
Nordic Choice Hotels and KLP Eiendom invests a total of MNOK 350 (about €38 M) in the development of Quality Airport Hotel Gardermoen.
