"This important transaction strengthens our excellent partnership with Taaleri. We appreciate that energy efficiency and climate change are on Taaleri’s agenda. Bonava has committed to halving its emissions in the value chain by 2030 compared with the benchmark year of 2018. Our target is to improve energy efficiency and promote solutions with low carbon emissions. The solutions we are now implementing once again represent concrete steps towards this target," says Riku Patokoski, Business Unit President, Bonava Finland.
The Tinantie project, which is expected to be completed and handed over to the customer in the fourth quarter of 2023, is located in Kirkkonummi close to the railway station and near one of the ring roads that leads to the heart of Helsinki in 25 minutes. The property is one of the most central in the Masala area, offering good access to services and proximity to schools and public transport. The future neighbourhood will also be close to a wide offering of sporting activities.
The Sitadelli 5 and 6 projects, which are expected to be completed and handed over to the customer in the first half of 2025, will complement Bonava’s neighbourhood in Vuosaari, in east Helsinki. The neighbourhood is located close to shopping centres, schools and services, and is a short walk from the sea, where the beach and natural environment provide outdoor activities.
All of the projects have a strong sustainability profile and will be built to comply with the requirements for energy class A. The building in the Tinantie project will be constructed using green concrete. All of the buildings will be fitted with solar panels.
