The campus property Innopoli 4 and the related outdoor areas are being constructed in several phases. The current contract is the third phase of the project, and the new building will be connected to the property already in use. The project encompasses approximately 7,900 gross square metres.

Eight floors will be built in the premises and a lower research hall wing. The building will house laboratories and related operations as well as special premises, such as radio protected premises, X-ray premises and cleanrooms. These will require a significant amount of technical building systems and different kinds of systems in the building. The leasable floor area is about 5,700 square metres.

The property will be fitted with solar power panels, and LEED Gold environmental certification will be submitted for the current phase. For YIT, work will start in January 2024 and the project is scheduled for completion in late summer 2025.
