Nordic — Heimstaden AB today successfully issued EUR 300 million in its inaugural euro-denominated subordinated perpetual hybrid bond with an initial reset of 5.25 years. The bond carries an annual fixed rate coupon of 6.750 percent and a yield of 6.875 percent.

Nordic — Heimstaden subsidiary, Heimstaden Bostad, buys 599 properties with 28,776 homes centrally located in Berlin (14,050), Hamburg (3,592), Stockholm (5,934), Malmö (4,107), and Copenhagen (1,093). Transaction value SEK 92.5 billion (EUR 9.1 billion) with SEK 2.8 billion in annual rental income.

Sweden — Heimstaden Bostad has set new sustainability targets and will invest SEK 5 billion to reduce the company’s greenhouse gas emissions by at least 46 percent by 2030, in line with the Paris Agreement ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C.

Denmark — Heimstaden AB’s subsidiary, Heimstaden Bostad AB strengthens its presence in Denmark through a SEK 3.5 billion acquisition of 1,473 homes in several attractive locations.

Finland — Heimstaden Bostad AB has acquired 242 homes in Helsinki for SEK 215 million (EUR 21 million), its first acquisition in the Finnish market.

Nordic — Heimstaden’s subsidiary, Heimstaden Bostad AB, buys 1,732 homes for SEK 1.9 billion and expands to six new cities in Northern and Eastern Germany.

Nordic — Heimstaden Bostad AB buys a newbuild portfolio with 2,496 homes in Poland for SEK 3.1 billion from leading Polish residential development company, Budimex.

Nordic — Heimstaden subsidiary, Heimstaden Bostad AB, buys newbuild project “Soho Wharf” with 752 residential units in Birmingham for SEK 1.9 billion (GBP 160 million) from Apsley House Capital and Galliard Homes. Galliard will also act as developer for the project.

Sweden — Heimstaden Bostad acquires 1,118 residential units for SEK 2.5 billion in Linköping from municipal housing company Stångåstaden, and significantly strengthens its presence in the region.

Nordic — The Swedish Pensions Agency invests SEK 1 billion in Heimstaden Bostad AB, and becomes a partner with the industrial owner Heimstaden AB and the existing institutional investors Alecta, Folksamgruppen, Sandvik Pensionsstiftelse and Ericsson Pensionsstiftelse.

Sweden — Heimstaden Bostad AB announces that authority has been granted by the shareholders, at an extraordinary general meeting held on 8 January, to raise an additional SEK 4 billion in equity through a directed new share issue towards existing shareholders, Heimstaden, Alecta, Ericsson and Folksam Group. The issue will be completed on 12 January.

Denmark — Niam has signed an agreement to sell a Danish residential portfolio, which includes the real estate company HD Ejendomme, to Heimstaden. A total of 152 residential properties are included in the portfolio, comprising 6,237 residential units, of which several have been developed during Niam's ownership.

Sweden — Nyfosa has signed an agreement with Heimstaden to divest two properties in Eskilstuna at an underlying property value of MSEK 445.

Nordic — Heimstaden’s subsidiary, Heimstaden Bostad AB, announces the acquisition of two build-to-rent projects in Warsaw, Poland, from the French developer and contractor, Eiffage, which also will act as the general contractor.
